Dr Gessler has been an expert witness  in a wide range of cases, the majority involving gynaecological cancer and gynaecological surgery. She gave evidence in the High Court in a landmark case involving surrogacy.  She has also taught on a national training day for solicitors in  medical negligence on the emotional impact of breaking bad news and working with complex cases.
